Vixy Rae owned two beautiful boutiques in Edinburgh called Odd One Out from 1996 - 2007 and ran the fashion distribution company, Mainline. In 2004 she picked up the legacy of Scotland's legendary Doctor Jives in Glasgow's Merchant City and ran the company for a further 3 years stocking the likes of A.P.C, Tsuori Chisato, Surface 2 Air Paris, The Hundreds, Teir One Nike Quick Strike, Alife, Barracuta, Homecore, Maharishi, Silas, Zakee Sharrif and many others. In the background of the stores, which introduced the worlds leading street and denim labels to Scotland, she began her own design label - Oddities Clothing. Susie Wright (aka Suzy Q & The Owls) studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and gained her Masters in Communication Design at Central Saint Martins in London. Oddities was formed with her beautiful illustration of the scottish wildlife and urban space, which helped define the style of the company. She continues to operate from London where she works as an illustrator and printmaker. Dominic Sum Flannigan was a graduate of Glasgow School of Art in 2005. He then worked in London and Chicago only to return to Scotland to work with Oddities and run the electronic record label and artist collective called LuckyMe. We work together under the name Oddities to promote the work of artist's around us and to make honest designs out of our environment and various inspirations. Thanks for stopping by.
